(b 1955, Milwaukee, WI)
David is an American born photographer working in New York City & Taos, New Mexico. He is an honors graduate of Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California (BA, 1981). David, his wife and newborn daughter moved to New York City in 1982 where he assisted many of New York's top editorial & advertising photographers. In 1985 he began a career photographing landscape, environmental and documentary projects as well as commercial assignments for Pepsi, Mercedez-Benz, Seagram's, American Express, Unilever and others.
David's studio & home in Taos were built to LEED certified standards for sustainability. Both his studio & home are entirely solar powered, use catchment water and are passive solar heated.
David's current work includes photographic projects in the deserts of the southwest U.S., the Salton Sea in southern California and documentary work along the Ganges River in northern India.
